The exhibition displayed over three hundred and thirty refined works from important national and international collections, including the National Palace Museum in Taipei and the Cartier Collection, to trace the historic and aesthetic epic of jade.Thirteen years after the British Museum's Jade Gallery, Goppion was given the opportunity to once again confront the masterpieces of mythical stone, the symbol of the Celestial Empire. But, above all, the rich programme of exhibitions at the Guimet Museum dedicated to the various interpretations of Oriental art, offered the opportunity to develop an exhibition system conceived expressly for temporary exhibits and capable of guaranteeing the necessary flexibility in terms of particularly high preventive preservation parameters and capable of meeting the standards of the most demanding lenders.

The display cases

The display cases selected, belonging to the Goppion M Class, are a perfect match for the specified requirements.These are modular showcases (cm 120x120) that are easily assembled and disassembled. Made entirely of glass and fully self-supporting, they can be used individually or can be assembled in a line or a block, thereby making it possible to create exhibition 'environments' of considerable dimensions. The insertion of an innovative ceiling component that is totally integrated in the frame, preventing bending and guaranteeing inalterability without having to resort to vertical supports.The peculiar structure of the aluminium frame, the so-called Pagani-frame, makes it possible to combine structural stability and light weight.The versatility of the composition options, combined with the essentialism of the functional and minimalist design, guarantees the adaptability of the system to any context or type of exhibit, as these modules can be integrated with existing displays and, just as importantly, a high level of overall protection for the objects on display.
