Goppion in the New York Times

On July 28, 2026, the New York Times published a review of Marcel, the new fine dining restaurant at Sotheby's Breuer Building on Madison Avenue, by chief restaurant critic Ligaya Mishan. In it, she describes "a darling emerald-eyed frog, by the high-society jeweler David Webb, in a Goppion vitrine splat in the middle of the dining room." And in another instance, describing a dish: "Carrots, leeks and braised beef come enveloped in a crystalline gelée, like their very own Goppion vitrine."

Goppion provided 16 display cases and five freestanding pedestals for Marcel, designed by Roman & Williams as part of Sotheby's transformation of the landmark Breuer Building.
