Goppion at the 14th Venice Biennial

26 May 2014

Goppion will add its contribution to the 14th International Architecture Exhibition called Fundamentals, organized by the Venice Biennial chaired by Paolo Baratta (June 5, 6 and 7, 2014)

In collaboration with the OMA studio run by Rem Koolhaas, director of the architecture section at the Venice Biennial and curator of the exhibition, Goppion realized two display cases for the occasion. They will hold loaned items from the British Museum – a small reproduction of a hut in clay from the 5th or 4th millennium BC and a precious Afghan carpet.

The display cases, one of which is an island model with a glass top and the other of which is a vertical wall model, have anti-shock alarm systems and a passive (silica gel) system for controlling relative humidity.
