AlMuqtani – Islamic Arts Biennale 2025
This video explores the AlMuqtani (“Homage”) section of the Islamic Arts Biennale 2025, which celebrates the extraordinary role of private collectors in preserving and sharing Islamic visual and material culture. The gallery features masterpieces from The Al Thani Collection, presented alongside works from The Furusiyyah Collection. The Islamic Arts Biennale, organized by the Diriyah Biennale Foundation, is open until May 25th.
Goppion is honored to have played a part in this project. Collaborating with BLACK, a global leader in producing and managing cultural projects, and exhibition designer Colin Morris of Colin Morris Associates, we engineered the museum-grade, conservation display cases to house an exceptional range of Islamic artworks and objects from around the world—just as we did for The Al Thani Collection at Hôtel de la Marine in Paris. Our work combines preventive conservation with elegant design to support the vision of this world-class exhibition. OMA designed the scenography for the Biennale. We look forward to the Islamic Art Biennale’s success as a landmark experience for visitors from around the globe.
