Alessandro Goppion among Italian Personalities

09 Jan 2011

The feats and endeavours of Alessandro Goppion, first in the front line for protecting the world’s artistic heritage with his Laboratorio Museotecnico, are told in the columns of the newspaper, Il Giornale, by Stefano Lorenzetto, one of the foremost journalists working for the Milanese daily newspaper.

In an interview in the series Tipi Italiani, (Italian Personalities), Lorenzetto paints the portrait of the man and entrepreneur: from the very beginnings of his family-run business right up to the more recent international successes in the field of preventive conservation of works of art. A front page article introduces us to the much longer article inside the newspaper in which the history of the company is traced.

From IL GIORNALE, 09/01/2011

“...And so, thirty years ago, it was his very own intuition that, right from the Bargello Museum onwards, has made Alessandro Goppion much sought-after by museums, royal houses, governments, ministries, libraries and cultural institutions. The glass strongbox that encloses the best that civilisation has produced on the face of the earth”.
