Michael Oliveras

Project Executive

Department

Michael has a unique work history that gives him an invaluable perspective in assisting museums and libraries with display case and exhibition projects. He has an academic and practical background in architecture, mechanical and electrical systems, and theatrical and lighting design. Previously his work has included the renovation design of a historic concert hall, engineering of lighting fixtures, managing interior fit-outs on cruise ships, and owning a high-end conservation picture framing business. Immediately prior to joining Goppion in early 2021, Michael owned and operated a specialty printing company in New England that supplied high-quality graphics and signs for museums. His undergraduate work was at Washington University in St. Louis; later he received an MBA from Boston University.

In recent years Michael has served as the Project Executive for several galleries at the Library of Congress, MFA Boston, the MET, the Boston Athenaeum, and many other projects including confidential private collections.
