Andrea has been with us since 2002 and has played an important part in Goppion becoming a world-leader in the industry. He works alongside Sandro Goppion, coordinating special projects, managing relationships with museums and universities, and putting together Goppion’s catalogues and publications.
He also focuses on our new international markets, notably the Far East, Oceania and Latin America, and he coordinated the installation of our galleries at the Australian Museum in Sydney and the Hong Kong Museum of Art. He is also responsible for our renovation of the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
Andrea is an active ICOM member and regularly attends the ICOM General Conferences. He has a degree in Classics from the Università degli Studi di Milano and a specialized diploma in Archeology, and he worked for ten years at Milan’s Museo Archeologico as a curator of the classical archeology section.
