Display Case Installation and Maintenance Lead
within 40 miles of midtown Manhattan
Required experience:
. Competent in Microsoft Office product
. Experience using CAD/3D programs to read/manipulate drawings
. Valid Passport, able to travel regularly
. Valid Driver’s License, clean driving record
. Experience in installing and maintaining mechanical machines
. Strong organizational, problem solving and people skills
. Competent with hand and power tools
Desired experience:
. Proficient in Italian Language
. Experience working in museums or high-end retail environments
. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues
. Forklift/Palletjack experience
. Electrical, glazing and metalworking skills
Job responsibilities:
. Warehouse and tool organization
. Assist installation crew on major museum installations and maintenance
. Perform minor installations
. Perform case maintenance operations
. Track hours/ material costs for invoicing
. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high-end museum environment. Our clients include the World Renowned Art and Historical Institutions.
In this position, you will interface with everyone from Museum Directors to Architects to Logistical Personnel. You will report to the Director of Project Engineering and assist in all operational functions in North America.
Minimum 60% Overnight travel will be required.
