Museum display case with single door sliding on rails

The problem

Lack of clearance in front of the display case or an awkward door shape, with a challenging height to width ratio, means pull & tilt slide is the only opening mechanism possible.

The standard solution

This type of sliding door opening system generally provides access to little more than half the width of the front in a self-supporting manner.

Goppion’s innovation

Thanks to reliable and robust rails and careful alternating positioning of the wheels, Goppion can provide full opening for large glass panes across over 80% of the case’s width. This makes it far easier to arrange even very large objects in the display case.
