Research & Development

We partner with the very best: NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Turin University's Department of Chemical Engineering, and the Centre de Recherche and Restauration des Musées de France, amongst others. These productive and rewarding collaborations are proof of the world-class quality of our research.

The “Laboratorio Museotecnico", our center for study and research, is the driving force behind a continuous process of research, experimentation and innovation. Prototyping, again and again, is the way we understand things, because where the hands go the brain will follow. We might have convinced you that we've found the very best way forward, but we'll continue to create prototypes. That way, we eliminate every possible risk, understand every possible scenario.

Our R&D is about more than our individual projects, though. We want the ripples to spread far and wide, to feed the greater good, and to keep museums alert to future challenges and moving forwards. We've worked with universities and research institutions, with national research councils, and with research departments within museums.

We've been lucky enough to work with the best in the world, but our 'try and try again' approach keeps us humble. Every project is a learning process, and we're always looking for new ways of doing things.
