With a degree in architecture from the structural engineering department at the Politecnico di Milano, Gerolin went on to do a master’s degree in environmental issues.
He is a member of the Order of Engineers and Architects of Varese.
After working for two years at the Department of Statistics and Science of Construction at the
Politecnico di Milano, he then worked as an architect for seven years, designing and constructing industrial and residential buildings.
He joined the Goppion team in 2003 where he is currently a Senior Project Manager. Over the years, he has developed installations mainly in English-speaking countries. Some of these projects include the Newseum and the Smithsonian in Washington D.C., the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Nelson Atkins Museum in Kansas City, some of the galleries in the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Sir John Soane’s Museum in London.
In Italy, he managed the projects for the Museo dell’Accademia Etrusca in Cortona and MUSE in Trento.
Gerolin has authored various publications on Renaissance and neoclassical architecture.
