Having graduated with a degree in architecture (with a special focus on technology) from Rome’s “La Sapienza” university in 1993, Bardelli is now finishing up a PhD at the Otaniemi University of Technology (Espoo, Finland).
He founded and had a professional studio in Tuscany for more than 20 years, and has worked around Europe and the Middle East. He has carried various projects – both new projects as well as architectural renovations and restorations – in the public and private sectors, and has had works published in Architectural Digest (U.S.) and Architectural Digest (Italy).
He is an expert in technical management of seismic emergencies. He has been a coordinator for safety in construction sites since 1997 and an expert for the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Italian Development Cooperation.
He joined the Goppion team in 2013 as Project Manager. For Goppion, he has worked on national projects such as the revamping of the Egyptian Museum in Turin and international projects, such as the Visitor Centre in Stonehenge, the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Art in Istanbul.
